Items Not Allowed from Nepal to UK: Full List Before You Pack (2026)

Items not allowed from Nepal to UK: ghee, meat, tobacco, batteries and gold

By Pals Courier and Cargo team · Updated 19 October 2026

Quick answer: The main items not allowed from Nepal to UK are ghee and other dairy, meat and sukuti, tobacco (cigarettes, khaini, surti, gutkha), fresh fruit, vegetables and flowers, coconut, gold and silver, cash, lithium batteries (including mobile phones, laptops and power banks), branded clothes and shoes, and drugs. Medicines, perfumes and homemade food are allowed only with conditions.

Most delays and seized parcels happen for one reason: a banned item was packed inside. One jar of ghee or a packet of khaini can stop a whole box of gifts at UK customs.

This guide lists every item you cannot send from Nepal to the UK with Pals Courier, explains why, and suggests what you can send instead. Please read it before you pack.
